Code of Conduct

The short version
UOEC should be a respectful, safe weekend for everyone. Be kind. Don't harass people. Follow staff instructions. Placeholder — swap in the official committee text when you have it.
Who this covers
Competitors, volunteers, judges, sponsors, and organizers — anyone at UOEC or in UOEC-related online spaces.
Expected behaviour
Placeholder. Treat others with respect, include people of all backgrounds, and compete honestly. No cheating, intimidation, or discrimination.
Unacceptable behaviour
Placeholder. Harassment, hate speech, unwanted physical or verbal contact, stalking, doxxing, and disrupting the event are not allowed.
Reporting
Tell a UOEC organizer or volunteer if something feels wrong, or email competition@uottawaess.ca.
Consequences
Placeholder. Organizers may warn, remove, or disqualify anyone who breaks this code, including from future UOEC events.
